Digital Champions Programme
Last Friday, four second year Business Studies students; Diarmuid O'Donoghue, Maciej Czerniak, Temi Oshundiya and Odhran Fahy along with their teacher Ms Hannon, went to the Limerick Institute of Technology, to take part in training as part of the School Digital Champions Programme. The School Digital Programme is an initiative introduced by the Government to enhance the use of technology in teaching and learning. They spent the day in workshops on website development and app development to help them to progress with their chosen project. Their chosen project theme is; Local Enterprise: How can you, as School Digital Champion, help your local small businesses to trade online and connect with their customers?

To achieve this they have decided to work with a local business and develop a website and an app for them to help connect them with their customers.
