  • Enterprise Education (Mini-Companies)
  • Languages – culture & context

  • Environmental Studies

In TY there is a high level of self-directed learning in the context of co- and cross-curricular interaction. At

the end of each year the programme is evaluated with an input from TY students, staff and parents. On foot

of this staff revises the programme in the light of the Transition Year Guidelines, Resource Materials

published by the Department of Education and Skills and school resources.

The selection process for TY is completed before the information process for selecting subjects on offer in

the Leaving Certificate (LC) Established and the Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) begins.
