1st Year Induction 2021

Dear Parents/Guardians/Incoming 1st Yrs,

1st Yr Induction for the Class of 2021 will take place over two days on 25th & 26th August 2021. At this stage you should have received an email from us outlining the programme in greater detail and the arrangements in place for each day. If you have not received this email, please contact the school office ( at your earliest possible convenience to rectify the issue.

Each year we really look forward to our Inductions days as we are excited to meet our new year group and welcome them into the school. Year-on-year, student feedback confirms that our programme provides a great introduction to school life in Calasanctius College. We hope at the end of the week that your son/daughter will agree and that it will prove to have been a very positive experience for them.

In advance of entry, there are various forms that must be submitted which can be found here. It is essential that we have the most up-to-date information on file for each family so we can offer the best possible care for your son/daughter in the coming year. It is extremely important that you are contactable at all times. For this reason, we ask ALL our families to complete the Nomination form so contingencies are in place should you be unavailable at any time. These forms are now 'live' for completion so please feel free to complete and submit them at your earliest possible convenience.

We are conscious that for your son/daughter, this is the beginning of a new phase not only in their education but also in their personal development. We understand that the transition from the familiarity of Primary School to a new Secondary School can be challenging and daunting. Calasanctius has many formal support structures in place to aid and support each student's arrival into our school. Please see links below for some important information about school life in Calasanctius College.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you into the Calasanctius College community in as safe and stress-free a manner as possible. We will be continuing to adhere to public health guidelines in all matters and ask for your support in implementing the various protection measures we have put in place for the good of the whole school community. It is essential for everyone's health and safety that we all work together to continue to build on all the hard work and sacrifice of the past 18 months, as we strive to maintain Calasanctius College a COVID-free environment.

I have no doubt that we all want the same thing and together we can work to achieve it and make it happen. Please continue to keep safe and monitor your emails regularly for any further communications/updates from us.

Le meas,
