Dear Parents/Guardians/Incoming 1st Yrs,
1st Yr Induction for the Class of 2022 will take place over two days on 23rd & 24th August 2022. You should recently have received emails with information about our Induction programme and what the two days entail. You will also have received some instuctions on tasks you may need to have completed in advance of Induction days in preparation for what is to come.
Each year we really look forward to our Inductions days as we are excited to meet our new year group and welcome them into the school. Year-on-year, student feedback confirms that our programme provides a great introduction to school life in Calasanctius College. We hope at the end of this week your son/daughter will agree and that it will have proven to have been a very positive experience for them.
In the meantime in advance of entry, there are various forms that must be submitted which can be found here. If you have not yet attended to these please do so at your earliest possible convenience. It is essential that we have the most up-to-date information on file for each family so we can offer the best possible care for your son/daughter in the coming year. It is extremely important that you are contactable at all times. For this reason, we ask ALL our families to complete the Nomination form so contingencies are in place should you be unavailable at any time.
We are conscious that for your son/daughter, this is the beginning of a new phase not only in their education but also in their personal development. We understand that the transition from the familiarity of Primary School to a new Secondary School can be challenging and daunting. Calasanctius has many formal support structures in place to aid and support each student's arrival into our school.
