Taking place in Kudo's nightclub on the 20th February in Kudos nightclub Calasanctius College is holding a disco 80's style!

Prizes on the night for best dressed and best moves!

Admission €10 – strictly over 25s.

Health Promotion Flag for School

We are delighted to announce that the school has been awarded a flag in recognition of the school being a health

promoting school. The flag has been awarded by the HSE and is the product of 3 years work by a committee consisting of

staff, students and a parent

Investment in I.C.T.

During the summer of 2015 the school invested substantially in our Computer

Rooms with the addition of almost 100 new computers to the school.  The school has

now secured an O.V.S. licensing agreement with Microsoft which in turn means

that students and parents can download for free the most up to date versions of

Office (Word, Excel,Power point etc.)

Our School

Calasanctius College Oranmore is a co-educational college, which caters for the needs of the local community. The students come from Oranmore and surrounding areas, including Maree, Carnmore, Claregalway, Clarenbridge, Kilcolgan and the south side of Galway City. The students come from very different backgrounds, both socially and economically, ranging from farming, self-employed, unemployed, business, and professional. The majority of students intend to carry on to third level.

The ambition of the school is to ensure that all members of the school community are given the best opportunity to achieve their potential in a happy, caring and supportive environment” The beautiful school building overlooking Galway Bay was opened in 2006 and accommodates approximately 800 students. Facilities include modern state of the art Science laboratories, material technology rooms, technical graphics rooms home economic rooms a music room, a full size sports hall and a fully equipped exercise gymnasium and modern canteen and performance area.
