Home Nations Champions:

Calasanctius U-15s Boys Soccer Team, representing Rep of Ireland have made history

again by claming the Allen McKinstry Cup in Belfast beating Scotland in the final. The boys

also beat N. Ireland and England on their way to success. Huge congratulations

to the players and their coaches Noel Greaney and Ruth Broderick

Our School

Calasanctius College Oranmore is a co-educational college, which caters for the needs of the local community. The students come from Oranmore and surrounding areas, including Maree, Carnmore, Claregalway, Clarenbridge, Kilcolgan and the south side of Galway City. The students come from very different backgrounds, both socially and economically, ranging from farming, self-employed, unemployed, business, and professional. The majority of students intend to carry on to third level.

The ambition of the school is to ensure that all members of the school community are given the best opportunity to achieve their potential in a happy, caring and supportive environment” The beautiful school building overlooking Galway Bay was opened in 2006 and accommodates approximately 800 students. Facilities include modern state of the art Science laboratories, material technology rooms, technical graphics rooms home economic rooms a music room, a full size sports hall and a fully equipped exercise gymnasium and modern canteen and performance area.
