Another great week on the sporting front for Calasanctius College this week. Firstly, fresh from their fantastic victory last week, our U19 Girls' basketballers returned to Tallaght today (Wed) and defeated Presentation Kilkenny in the league semi-final on a very impressive score line of 66-56. This result progresses our girls into an All-Ireland League Final on February 26th, where they will be hoping to do the double in nearly as many weeks.
Not to be outdone by the ladies, our Senior hurlers also had an impressive win over Coláiste Mhuire, Ballygar yesterday (Tues) in the Connacht semi-final on a score line of 2-14 to 2-09. This result sees them progress to a Connacht final in the coming weeks with opposition and venue TBC. Well done one and all.
