Well done to all the Calasanctius athletes who qualified for the All-Ireland Track and Field finals this year. They include five Connacht Champions: Seán Cleare Minor Boys 100m, David Frazer Minor Boys 800m, Harvey White Minor Boys High Jump, Conor Penney Intermediate Boys High Jump and 100m Hurdles and Toyosi George Intermediate Boys 800m. Gloria Filipe also qualified in the Intermediate Girls Triple Jump. The Minor Boys also won Best Overall School. They are Seán Cleare, David Frazer, Harvey White and David Wasil. Toyosi, Conor and Gloria have also qualified to represent Connacht in the Tailteann Games this summer as have Liam Stapleton in the 100m and Osahon Enaiho in the 400m Hurdles.
