HSE Stress Balancing Programme

The HSE has been in contact with us to ask that we let you know about a new initiative they are launching and would like us to share with you. See below for further details.

Dear Principal,

I am delighted to share with you the new HSE online stress management programme for the general public, Balancing Stress. The programme has been developed by HSE Health and Wellbeing in partnership with HSE Psychology. This might be of particular use to your exam year students, and their parents / guardians.

The programme is available online at: Balancing Stress - a practical course in stress management - HSE.ie

This programme, which consists of six sessions, aims to support individuals in managing stress effectively and in enhancing their mental wellbeing. Topics covered in the programme include Understanding stress; Managing worry; Managing anxiety; Managing low mood and depression; Stress and its impact on relationships. Each session is self-directed, allowing individuals to engage with the content at their own pace and revisit materials whenever necessary.
